Abstract

eLit2005 is the 4th international conference examining the challenge of eLiteracy. Like the previous conferences in the series (at Glasgow University, Glasgow Caledonian University, and St Johns University, New York) eLit2005 will draw together teachers, educational researchers, policymakers, trainers, librarians, IT support staff, learning technologists, and many others who need to share their experiences or draw upon those of others, and to talk and think through issues as diverse as the embedding of eLiteracy skills in the curriculum to the convergence of library and IT services and the challenges of creating online education.
